Ideas to include Jowar/Sorghum in your daily diet

- Porridge: Add 2 teaspoons of jowar flour to a glass of water and mix it without any lumps. Heat the mix on the stove at low flame for  2-3 mins. Add a pinch of salt/Jaggery powder according to your preference.- Roti: One of the easiest ways to incorporate jowar in your daily diet. You can make Roti flour by mixing 50 percent jowar and 50 percent of whole wheat. You can also add flour from other millets and make multigrain flour.
- Idli/dosa: Jowar can also be added to the rice batter prepared for making idli and dosa. You can add jowar flour to the fermented rice batter and allow it to rest for 20 mins. Instant Jowar dosai is ready.
