Organic Turmeric Powder

Turmeric Powder is known as the “Golden Spice.” It is mainly used for its anti-bacterial property and as a natural colorant. It is a staple in many Indian kitchens. It has many medicinal and cosmetic properties. The curcumin compound in turmeric is what activates these. It contains iron, potassium, Vitamin C, manganese, protein, and more.

No chemicals/artificial colour/additives added

MANUFACTURING: 

• Fully grown Turmeric is harvested from the fields 
• Harvested raw turmeric is then cleaned and boiled in a large vessel 
• Once the fingers are cooked, they are removed from the large vessel and allowed to sun-dry for 5-7 days 
• The turmeric fingers are sun-dried until all the moisture evaporates completely 
• Once fully dried, the skin of the turmeric fingers is removed with the help of machinery (this step is also known as polishing) 
• The polished turmeric fingers can be stored in sacs 
• As and when needed, the fingers are ground, and turmeric powder is ready for consumption.
